Many of our pupils travel to school using school transport. For more information, or to find out if your child is eligible, please contact Havering Transport on 01708 441 287.

The service operates during term time, collecting children and young people from their homes or agreed collection points, ensuring they arrive on time and ready to learn. In the afternoon, they are collected at home time and returned safely back again.

All drivers and passenger assistants are specially trained to provide transport services for children and young people with SEN.

Eligibility is assessed by:

  • Distance
  • Safety of the route
  • Income
  • Mobility needs

Before applying for travel assistance you must read the full criteria given in the policy document.

 3rd April 2020 Coronavirus update

The school currently remains closed to protect our vulnerable school community.

I hope you and your families are all keeping safe and well. As you are aware today marks the end of the Spring term and the start of the Easter holidays. A skeleton staff will be on duty throughout the break and will still be checking emails but please be aware responses may be a bit slower than usual.

Class teachers will be sending home Easter activities via Evidence for Learning so please make sure you log on. Please feel free to add any photos or videos of your home learning.

We have attached some links to free websites that you might find useful to support your child's learning and wellbeing during these difficult times.

We have also attached information about applying for free school meals and how to login to our online learning platforms.

During our school closure you will still be able to make contact with the school via office at: office@limeacademyravensbourne.london

You can also email Julie Cook, our Family Support Worker at: julie.cook@hornbeamacademytrust.com

You can find  the most up to date Government advise at :https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus

Wishing you all a peaceful Easter – stay at home, stay safe and stay smiling.
